Windows XP
Click Start then My Computer, click on the Tools tab then Folder options. Click the View tab then Advanced, click Hidden files and folders then select show Hidden files and folders, and click Ok.
Hidden files or folders should now be seen.
Windows Vista
Click on Start, go to Contol panel click Appearance and Personalization. Click on the view tab then underneath show hidden files or folders put a checkmark in Show hidden files and folders.
Close the window and you are all set.
Windows 7
Click the Windows Explorer button on the toolbar then double click the library folder. Click Organise the click folders and search options, click the View tab on top of the new window then click Show hidden files, folders, and drives.
Close the windows and now you should see the hidden files or folders.
Windows 8, 8.1, 10 & 11
Click on the File Explorer button on the toolbar, click the View tab on top of the new window then click Hidden items.
Close the window and you now should be able to see hidden files or folders.
