For those still running Windows 8 or 8.1 and are having issues with the store, then follow these instructions to fix the problem.

Open CMD Type powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.XML Press enter.
