Cortana help

I am looking to remove cortana from my windows 10 machine

I don't use it, and when it randomly loads (and won't close unless I use task manager), it just gets in the way

so does anyone have any suggestions to remove it- or turn it off

Right click on the taskbar and click Task Manager, click the Startup tab then find Cortana and right click then click disable. Hope this helps.

Right click on the taskbar and click Task Manager, click the Startup tab then find Cortana and right click then click disable. Hope this helps.

I had no idea that a start up manager existed within the task manager (think I'm going to learn a lot by being here)

will go look for it anyway
